The queen-size quilt's face design has been completed and is now ready to go to the accomplished seamstress who will do the actual quilting.
The Appleseed Quilt Guild has some 170 members who have offered their beautiful quilts to a number of not-for-profit service organizations over recent years, most noteably the Red Cross. They currently meet out at the Classic Cafe on Hillegas.
This quilt is the first one they've done for the ACSR.
The ACSR is currently exploring licensing for a public raffle for the quilt with tickets being made availble at a number of area public events and through this web site.
